It is designed in FreeCAD and pre-assembled from seven PETG 3d printed parts:
- main case
- top cover
- 2x paddles
- 2x paddle bottom posts
- micro-switches tray
Additionally, following components are used in the assembly:
- three machine bolts
- threaded into paddle rotation axes and to hold top cover
- four sealed ball bearing races
- snapped into their holders in main case and top cover
- two sealed micro-switches
- glued into micro-switches tray
- an audio jack
- glued into the main case
- rubberized compound for paddle movement dampening
Dimensions:
- enclosing volume: L:74mm/2.9in x W:36mm/1.4in x H:28mm/1.1in
- weight: 45g/1.5oz
Notes:
- due to micro-switches closing the circuit, the throw is not adjustable
- due to micro-switches providing spring action, the tension is also not adjustable
- having said that, the geometry and tension forces are optimized for a good feel
- if you like more throw in your paddle, you’ll love this one - it has 1.3mm or 3/64in of movement from rest to fully bottomed, but switches activate at approximately 0.5mm or 1/64in
- there are no magnets in the base as this is a medium sized portable paddle meant to be hand-held
- due to use of 3d printed material (PETG), it should not be stored above 140F
- due to use of 3d printed material, it is normal for there to be very minor variations in surface finish
- all paddles are tested for proper operation before shipping
- Made in USA by KN6FQM :)

Optional custom callsign:

Starting in 2026, all CWMouse products are printed in PETG which is temperature resistant.
Please follow the guidance on the card included with your order.
In 2025, most units were printed in PLA which is susceptible to softening
and deforming when stored in temperatures above 100F. This is easily exceeded
in a locked car or a Pelican case on a hot summer day. Interior of cars can
reach 140F which starts the melting. When used in free-air, in the open,
even in summer sun, there is no risk.
